There are programs that can recover your pictures. You can figure it out when you get back. In the meantime, have a great trip! Take lots of pictures on a new card for us to marvel at later.

Sorry can't help other than suggest you reformat. Took mine to band dress rehearsal last night leaving the card at home in the card reader... doh!
