Well, our well-dressed mix-n-match Franklin County Winterball team played a nice game with the younger Essex team ... surviving some defensive wiggles in the first inning to bounce back with a nice performance featuring runners thrown out by Court, a perfectly executed run down, solid pitching, a big hit by Britt (hey, every day is her birthday this year), a pair of clutch long singles from the Bolgi sisters, and a nice bunt by Jamie. An enjoyable evening against some good friends and respected rivals ... Here's hoping we didn't lose a second catcher to a fracture, as Court's hand got nicked in the first inning and didn't look good after the game ...
