While in Florida for St. Mike's 2010 opening softball tournament Kate, GrammaB, and I spent her off day at the Tampa Zoo. It's a very pleasant place -- very walkable, nice shade along the way, good living areas for the animals ... I used the Sigma 150-500 -- the monster zoom-in ability was highly entertaining, but the available light was a bit of an issue and I shot hand-held, putting the optical stabilization to the test. All in all, the images came out pretty good (especially the last one).
