SMC Softball '10 vs Pace

SMC finished the NYC trip with 2 close games against Pace. The Setters took Game1 2-0 and Game2 was 2-0 for awhile before it finished up at 5-1. KellyL singled in the 7th inning of Game2 and scored on a wild pitch for St. Mike’s lone run. KellyE had 3 hits on the day, Kate got a single in the opener, and Carleen blasted a double in Game2. MegC’s amazing catch of a wannabee 3-Run Home Run that sent her crashing through the fence and tumbling down the embankment beyond it was a play worthy of not only a spot on ESPN’s top plays, but maybe an ESPY itself!
