SMC Fall Ball '11 vs Castleton

St. Mike's traveled to Castleton for a Fall Ball Doubleheader in 'll .. and I wanderd down as well. Yep, I'm devoted to SMC purple, but today I wore Green -- as making her collegiate softball debut for Castleton was MVU All-Star and my summer '10 Oranges catcher, Stephanie! She DH'd in game 1 and got the start behind the plate in Game 2. She promptly threw out the first runner to try and steal against her. Nice debut, Steph! Another treat for me was seeing Lea (of Middlebury and winter pitching clinic) spin a scoreless inning on the mound for SMC. It was a beautiful day for ball and St. Mikes took both games with fine play on both sides. All told, it was completely worth the drive!
