SMC opened the ECAC Fall Ball Tournament with three games on Saturday: a nip and tuck loss to Wheaton College, one that slipped away late to Franklin Pierce, and a nice win over MIT. Kater played 3rd, pitched, and played 2nd ... MegO crushed a line drive home run, Ashley delivered a couple of long extra-base hits, Kelly L hit well, Lindsay B had a nice all-around day ... Lots of good things happened for the young Knights, so all in all, it was a good day. Two games set for Sunday: University of New England and St. Anselm ...
