SMC visited crosstown Division I UVM during the last weekend of Fall ball -- and surprised the Cats by splitting the doubleheader. Meggan Roberge pitched beautifully in the opener, earning the win in extra innings. Heather started at catcher, knocked herself out (almost literally) of the game as she fouled a fastball off her jaw, and then came off the bench with 2 outs in the 8th to drive in two runs with a clutch game winning single to center. Kater started game 1 at 3rd. Megan O pitched strong in game two and held it close until the end when UVM broke away to earn the split. Nice job, Knights!!
