SMC broke open a close game against St. Joseph's College with a thunderous 3-run home run from Freshman KellyL, while MegO was impressive on the mound and KatieW was strong in relief as the two combined for the shutout. Heather added a double (as requested by her Uncle) as a highlight on offense, and then combined with Katelyn for the game's defensive highlight, as Katelyn nailed another runner at the plate with a bullet throw from Center to Heather who applied the tag to preserve the shutout in the 7th inning. With the win, SMC improved to 3-0 on the season.
