Weather defied prediction as SMC traveled to Albany for twilight doubleheader and arrived to find "the field under the lights" would soon be "the field under the water". The Knights (Purple and Golden alike) persevered and SMC slopped out a 6-4 2.5 hour 7-inning win in Gm1 -- and Gm2 was washed out by rain, mud and darkness. Meggan earned the win in the mud; Katy had 3 hits, Meg O added 2; Katelyn got in as a pinch runner ... SMC is now 21-10.
