Missisquoi made it to the semi-finals of the District All-stars, only to face the Essex team that beat them earlier in the tournament. Missisquoi wasn't intimidated and played beautifully throughout. The Essex coaches might have underestimated Orange, as they tried to save their their #1 pitcher for the finals and dug themselves a hole that Caitlyn wouldn't let them out of. She pitched a gem, her fielders were sharp, they ran the bases aggressively, and the Missisquoi bats hit every pitcher Essex offered, including the #1 who came in late. Missisquoi advances to face Northwest in the finals, in a matchup that features no fewer than five of Kater's young pitching students!
