NMC's team theme for the American Cancer Society's 2011 Relay For Life was "Fishing For A Cure" - encouraging researchers to keep casting in pursuit of the biggest fish in the sea of medicine, a cure for cancer. I took a few photos during the opening hours -- and am headed back in a bit for my 1am hour. Very cool event. Special thanks go out to Dena St. Amour and Trudi Cioffi who chaired the Franklin County event -- they're quick to say they had a lot of help, but my sense is they each poured a lot of themselves into it as well. Plus, thanks to Pam who captained the NMC team, Wes who stayed the whole time, Kelly who chaired the Luminari portion, and the rest of the NMC crew!
