Niagara Falls, '15

2015 opened with Marilyn and I in Niagara Falls thanks to Katelyn, Emily, & GrammaB. Great trip. M battled through “lake effect” snow to get to the mid-way Cracker Barrel and after a great meal, we had smooth cruising from there. The Tower Hotel was a quirky, unique delight with 2701’s floor to ceiling window having a magnificent view of the Falls. Enjoyed walking the Canadian side, a jaunt over to the American side, and the touristy opportunity to see the Falls from behind the falls. We couldn’t go to every lookout due to the winter ice, but we were still able to get within feet of the water in places and feel the awesome power of nature’s beauty. Visit capped with a Friday night fireworks show that we watched from the comfort of our room. Thoroughly enjoyable getaway.
