MVU vs Rutland, Playoffs '10

I got to see the MVU battle Rutland in the 2010 DI quarterfinals as winter pitching clinic nex-gens Dakota and Sommer shared the mound for the Thunderbirds. Rutland slipped ahead early, but MVU showed their heart and kept clawing back -- only to come up one hit short in the bottom of the 7th. The Freshmen did a great job on the mound and Steph, a winter clinic catcher, threw out three runners. Fun to watch - proud of you, Thunderbirds!

It's been a delight to be a bullpen catcher during the winter for many of the Thunderbirds -- they've worked very hard and should be proud of a great season.
