I got to enjoy a beautiful Friday evening in Swanton watching a nex-gen Field Hockey game as the MVU JV squad tied Rice 1-1. Kater's Dakota played strong on offense and my friend Steve's daughter Kelly was solid in the midfield. Plus, one of the refs looked sooo familiar and, sure enough -- Helen from Monkton from forever and ago ... What a pleasure!
