On the day before a massive storm was due to hit, the MVU Thunderbirds' Field Hockey team stormed through the quarterfinals, overwhelming Fair Haven 5-0. Camille had two (three? four?) goals and Dakota (one of Kater's nex-gen pitching prodigies) had one to pace the offense, and Kelli & Mikaela anchored a strong defensive effort in the shutout. Nice to see the defending DI State Champs playing with intensity and teamwork - fun to watch. Go 'Birds!
