MVU Field Hockey vs Harwood, '12

I got invited to Swanton to photograph the 2012 MVU Field Hockey Thunderbirds as they took on Harwood. Fall color bespeckled the trees, a bit of a breeze teased that Fall was here, and the defending DI VT State Champion Thunderbirds cruised to a 2-0 victory .. (My friend Steve's daughter) Kelli's blast made it 1-0 and Camille's artistry cemented it at 2-0. Always fun to see (Kate's nex-gen and my friends Dee & Jeff's daughter) Dakota & her MVU crew in action. I was rusty, as these were my first sports photos of the Fall -- but it was great to be back on a sideline.
