MVU Field Hockey Quarterfinals '10

Got to see the Mississquoi Valley Union field hockey team race to a 7-1 quarterfinal win over Bellows Falls on a cooooold, windy late October afternoon. Camille was impressive with 4 goals and the whole MVU team was equally impressive with crisp passing, good hustle, and tough defense. The MVU coach made a good decision to rest Dakota and her hamstring injury, given the cold wet conditions and the quick lead -- that will put her in far better position to contribute in the semifinals if the leg allows. Mississquoi (#1) now plays Montpelier (#4) in the semis. GO THUNDERBIRDS!!!
