The 18u had a fine showing in the 2007 Montreal International Invitational, going 3-3 in tournament play against strong competition before being eliminated by the Connecticut Cobras on Sunday. The highlights were numerous: a 3-hit complete game shutout for Erin, an 8-inning win for Katelyn, and a Wry-combined 3-hit win for Katie and Erin; a home run from Erin and triples from Katelyn, Erin, & Jenna; great outfield catches by Meg, Erin, Katie, and Lyndsi; and Katelyn & Whit got to play in the tournament's all star game ...

It was a nice visit to Canada -- though the fields were disappointly sandy leading to Jenna's painful injury, the weather was rainy at the end, and we could have done without the 2-hour border crossing coming home!

I took a couple photos of Katelyn in game 2 and some at the evening all star game, but left the rest of the imaging to Marilyn -- she does a nice job and got something of everyone.
