As an update on the first photo, Essex didn't pull off their apparently expected sweep -- but did earn the team title from the field of five schools who had teams to send.

Lighting was a bit different, I went with 1/100th of a second at ASA 800 using the Tungsten white balance setting -- but was in a blue gym with blue mats and lots of blue uniforms, so the photos are a bit blue! Here, they roped off the spectators, so most are shot across the gym at 200+mm zoom. Nonetheless, it was an interesting second experiment ...
