Much of the extended Monaghan clan celebrated "Grampa Monaghan's" 90th Birthday in August of 2014 with four generations, a pair of cousins, and a couple new friends gathering on Grand Isle. Family fun abounded amidst an occasional raindrop in the form of Marilyn's creative races, featuring foam ponies, bubble gum, ping pong balls, water balloons, parachutes, mummification, lost shoes, piggybacks, and more ... Swirled amidst it all was afternoon bbq delight, a family photo or two, some introductions, delicious desserts, priceless banter, a sub-group to church, lasagna later, and s'mores to cap the evening .. A grand time was had by all, and naturally, I took some pictures ...
