Fruit of the vine, work of human hands ... yep, it's not all vines, but at least it gets the berries, fruits, nuts, and vegetables out of the flowers ... Maybe it's "stuff that grew on stuff" -- but that would open the door for tumors instead of tubors, so maybe it's best if we stick with the safer, artsy, semi-inaccurate "fruit of the vine" ...
