Three of our winter pitching participants -- Caitlyn, Kat, & Ali -- are playing for the Fairfield 8th Grade softball team this spring. I got to see them take on Westford to open their season. Caitlyn pitched well -- mixing her pitches, striking out 14+, not allowing many (any?) hits. All three hit well, with Ali solid at 1st Base and Kat anchoring the defense behind the plate.
