Chelsea, Celsey, Caitlin, Katherine, Eli and the rest of the Missisquoi All-Stars won the 2007 Little League State Championship -- earning a trip to the Eastern Regionals!! Kater and I were able to slip away from a Monday in the professional world and popped over to Albany to see them in action ... and were treated to a 7-3 win over New Hampshire! The whole team played beautifully: bunting, running, hitting, fielding, hustling, and enjoying every minute of it. Chelsea pitched the game we saw, striking out 15 and gave up only 3 hits. Celsey earned the win over Maine in the next game as Vermont finished 2-2. BRAVO all around.

It was well worth the trip -- and watch out world, this group certainly reminds me of six years ago when it was Kate, Jenna, Lyndsi, Erin, Nen, Court and company in the Eastern Regionals!
