My friend Jennie's birthday in 2011 was a beautiful Fall day which saw her daughter Lida's CVU Field Hockey team take on our alma mater, the Mount Abraham Eagles. Naturally, we went and I took some pictures ... It was an even battle that went 1-1 into overtime, with Lida's friend Sara pounding in the Red Hawk goal. CVU controled the action in OT, with (team captain) Lida contributing strong play on defense and offense, but the Mt. Abe goalie rose to the occassion, and the action ended in a fitting tie. Bit of glare in the images from the bright sun -- but hey, let's not complain about beautiful weather!
