Comet Lacrosse 09 vs St. Johnsbury

The Comets' varsity lacrosse team played their first DII opponent this season and rolled to a 17-7 victory. Passing looked crisp, defense picked up after St.J poured in 4 early goals, and the Comets had some nice agressive shots on goal. Emily (#4) got good playing time and moved the ball well on offense.

I'm not a huge fan of the new fan area designations from a photography standpoint -- tried to shoot from the hill in the 1st half and got next to nothing. However, I do agree with moving the benches away from the fans, so I'll just "go creeper" to get better angles/proximity (which I experimented with in the 2nd half) ... Hey, the manfrotto IS my press pass ... :-)
