Comet Softball 09 Scrimages

I stopped by the MVU preseason round robin and watched the 09 BFA varsity Comets take an 8-6 win over Colchester with nex-gen freshman Kelsey on the mound and a 3-0 shutout of Essex with nex-gen freshman Chelsea on the mound ... crappy weather, great effort ... The Comets are young and inexperienced, but it looks like they'll come together nicely. The freshman pitchers who Kate has worked with over the years in the Rocket pitching clinics have a chance to contribute this year -- it'll be fun to watch this group develop.
