At the Missisquoi Wildlife Refuge, they have a whole series of bluebird houses -- and they look to be occupied by a whole flock of blue birds, who turn out to be Tree Swallows, not bluebirds ... very social little buggers once they get used to you. Thanks go out to Sam at birdzilla.com who debunked my "albino breasted bluebird" theory and properly identified them as Tree Swallows. Yes, technically, Gramma B had said they were swallows earlier, but she didn't have the "Tree" part of it and who listens to her anyway ... :-) Regardless, they were fun to photograph and Sam may use the photos in his upcoming email newsletter. Very cool.
Later in the Spring, I found another group of Tree Swallows in a cemetary in Sheldon ...
