Baseball has always been a love -- I grew up a fan of Pete Rose and Reggie Jackson, played second base for Jeff Stetson in the Jim Carter tradition at Mt. Abe, and have followed the game from afar ever since, even as our love affair with fastpitch softball has flourished. My definition of heaven will always include leading off and playing second.
