The Comets took care of business vs Rice ... I only saw 1 1/2 innings before jumping to the Freshmen Comets game vs MVU, but in that flurry, the Comets jumped to a 10-0 lead and Brittany French struck out 5 of 6 batters in her regular season debut. Brittany finished with a 1-hitter, struck out 11, and walked only 2 as the Comets prevailed, 17-0. Lyndsi had 2 hits and 4 RBI to pace the offense. Once again, players throughout the lineup played and played well. Congrats on going 4-0, Comets!
