pipe or no pipe

I started painting the one on the left for Joshua. I liked it so much I started a second one for myself. My husband suggested I remove the drainage pipe as it took away from the bridge.
So the second painting is without the pipe. I think I like it better. I am still not finished with either. I am still just trying to work out the pipe or no pipe issue.
