Today we visited Robert Allerton Park near Champaign, Illinois and discovered these beauties in the low lands near the Sangamon River. They were most abundant! We've not seen them before in Illinois, Indiana or Wisconsin. Either they are rare or short lived. Certainly the vision and the aroma are most memorable. Thanks for sharing your talent.
