The quest to leave a mark behind and, in some way, remain immortal.

Tiffiny is an artist in many ways, no matter what her 'canvas' is. She graciously agreed to let me take some shots of her at work (and of her work) - and these will be followed by other portraits as she has time.

They did it! After four years of togetherness, they decided to make it official. Matt and Nicole became engaged August 2. (I'll add the engagement story later; it's really sweet.) The party to celebrate - a surprise for Nicole - was August 5. Matt, Aaron, and Jason worked for HOURS on Saturday preparing food - an amazing array of incredible food (list of it ALL coming later). The Grill King, aka Dennis, kept the burgers, ribs and chicken coming. And, Jefferson Bakery did a wonderful job with the cake. About 50-60 people came to share the celebration. A good time - and later in the evening, a rowdy time - was had by all. Matt and Nicole said no one embarrassed themselves too much. More on THAT later too. ;-)
