To answer your last question Donna: Yes, it should be published. An image is not about the subject, it is about the photography and the capturing of a moment in time. In 100 years from now no one will care who the man is but the cars, clothing, and behavior of the subjects will be of great interest to anyone viewing the image.

Tor, you raise an interesting question about photos taken in public places. Honestly, I don't know how he would feel about it. It has already been published in the newspaper without protest by him or his family, along with his name and offense because that information here is a matter of public record that anyone, not just a newspaper person can get. But on the internet .. again, I don't know. Which raises the question - since I did not ask, should it be published?

Great capture... How does he feel about having his arrest published on the internet? Works well in b&w

Seems a D70 would be big enough that you'd have a hard time taking a quickie and then retreating. But I image that's what you'd have to do. Nice 'capture.'
