This was an interesting group of kids at a local Vacation Bible School. Another newspaper assignment, I was there to take a few shots of activities. As they lined up to go upstairs to sing me their VBS special song, I decided to take a shot. The girl immediately went into fashion model pose - half turn to the side, one leg bent, chin dipped. The boy leaned forward and stuck his tongue out. "Hon, that's not going in the paper," I mentioned. It worked. He stood very still - until I hit the shutter. She continued to hold perfectly still. He moved just enough that I didn't catch it until I looked at the shot later. Tongue or crotch grab - one way or another, he was going to make a statement.
