I spent nearly five hours interviewing an 87 year old man, a former watchmaker for the B&O Railroad, who had more experiences and incredible stories to tell than anyone else I've ever met. After he finished giving me his recipe for spaghetti sauce (handed down by his Italian mother .. handed down to her by generations of sauce makers), he commented, "Gosh, I'm hungry!" I asked what time it was, thinking it was probably 5:00. It was past 7:00. I had reams of notes that needed to be read through and then an article written. Just before midnight, I took this shot. I was too brain fried by the time I got home to post it.
The article will run in two parts - maybe even three because I decided to go back for a few more stories later this week.
I am making Mr. Miglio's spaghetti sauce this weekend. :)
