I remember the very first time I went online almost eight years ago. Chat rooms! Instant messages! There seemed to be so much to learn and explore. It didn't take long, though, before I discovered chatting led to an inevitable question: "So, what are you wearing?" I usually ignored the question - and the questioner. Until the day I responded, "Well, I'm wearing The Uniform. All women sign an agreement that every time they go online they wear The Uniform." "What uniform?" "High heels and thong panties." I probably told this to a 13 year old boy who just didn't get the sarcasm. I wore a 'uniform' then - and still do. Black leggings, white socks, and either a man's white cotton shirt or an oversized black sweater. No spike heels. No thong. To all you 13 year old boys out there - Sorry.
