What toppings you want on that? February 10

It is an unlikely spot for a pizza place - small town, middle of nowhere, next to a feed/tractor store - but it's been there forever. They make the kind of pizza with real cheese that gets slightly oily by the time you bring it home. The woman who owns it is never there, but hires local kids - and sometimes kids nobody else will hire, just to give them a chance. There are a couple of tables, nothing comfortable where you'd want to linger. But there's always somebody sitting there.

This is the kind of shot that everyone who lives or has lived in a small town can relate to. As many people have stated the B&W works best; I think it is because it gives it that "frozen in time" feel.

definitely made the right choice going with b&w here... it really fits the shot. I happen to have a weakness for shots like this. Very nice.

I enjoy the b&w much more than the color. Good idea using it. Throughly enjoying the photo :-)

Lovely commentary of what I perceive as one of the images of small town America.

I think that is what I miss from the small towns. Where the chairs are not as comfortable and where they do not have all over the window blastered " Pizza " This is a great image. I agree with Chris. I really love that you captured this guy who took an order. Nice.

Wonderful commentary with the photo. Really tells the story of the place.

I like the details that make this real. Bills posted on the window, the menu on the wall, the paneling. The guy cradling the phone while he takes a delivery order is the best, though.
