Shawna January 20

S is for Shawna (another dual letter person, Shawna S, and a great model.)

When Shawna moved here while she was in high school, I watched as people reacted to her in much the same way they would have if an exotic, tropical bird had decided to make its home in the mid-Atlantic area. She was a California girl through and through - blonde hair, tan, a huge smile that not only lit up her face, but the room. When I needed help with an article on teen fashions, Shawna was the go-to person and she helped pull together a group of friends to be interviewed and photographed. She is both beautiful and talented with an amazing voice. She's in college now, working on a Spanish major with a voice minor - with an eye toward working at a Spanish network back in California.

More Shawna ...

She was also on TV. American Idol actually, just wanted to add that. Thank you Donna for giving us all something to enjoy. A great gallery!

Donna,

A wonderful job, I like the slight tilt to her head and the attention to detail in the arrangement of her hair etc and especially the catchlight in her eyes.

Great portrait. I like this the best of the bunch. She is very pretty in all of them, but she seems the most natural in this one. She'll be needing headshots before she applies to Telemundo :)

A very beautiful woman and I like the fact that you pointed her intelligence. She appears to be a very copassionate person and very friendly. Wonderful display. To be honest I never realized how much you can read about person in a portrait, until you started this series. Nice work, donna.
