Solitary October 20

This old farmhouse has always intrigued me. It sits not far from a highway, but manages to be isolated. Whenever I've driven past either at night or on a rare early morning wandering (like today), there is always just one light on - upstairs, either in the front or at a side window. I've never seen a person, though there is always a car there.

Almost creepy shot. I'll bet the lit window is the bathroom. I remember reading in the autobiography of Malcolm X that, when he was a burgler, he would never go in a house/apartment with the bathroom light on, since someone might be up. (He also advised leaving the light on, since a potential burgler could never know (unless he sat there all night) that someone wasn't up.

Captures that time before sundown and the moon appearing very well. I would say it might be cool to get a series of this house, but then those people might show themselves.:)
