I've known him literally his entire life and there has always been a restless energy about him - an anticipation of something about to happen and he was going to be there when it did. He always seems to be looking forward. That's what I thought of, seeing him standing there - looking toward a road that leads away, the wind at his back, facing ahead and looking for what's to come.
