This was taken at the War Correspondents Memorial Arch at Gathland State Park in Maryland.

The arch was constructed in 1896 to honor journalists and artists who risked their lives during the Civil War to report what was happening. Since then, other names have been added. I was at a ceremony there last October which added Daniel Pearl, Michael Kelly, David Bloom and Elizabeth Neuffer, four journalists killed while covering the war on terrorism. It is the only monument honoring war correspondents in the United States.
