A homeless man lives here. I interviewed him when he first came to this area and he has since decided I am the best reporter and writer ever. That was three years ago. He calls me from time to time and often he finds things out before anyone else. Today he called to say he'd just been questioned by state troopers regarding a body they'd discovered not far from where he stays. He asked me to come out and take pictures of the troopers at work. He had nothing to do with it. She'd been hit by a car or truck several days ago.
I went to the abandoned farmhouse. He puts up a sign when he is upset or just doesn't feel like company. It said "closed" when I got there, but he showed up seconds later, smiled and flipped it around. "It is open for you."
