From Quilpie I headed east some distance and into more settled districts, and spent a delightful afternoon and morning exploring the woodland of Tregole National Park. Tregole is a small park, remnant in otherwise cleared country, set aside particularly to reserve stands of the the threatened tree known as Ooline.
