Photographed through my living room window. (The window is overdue for a clean, but I don't think that has come through.)
When I first saw this black individual (I assume it is the same one) in my garden in February ( https://pbase.com/donfranklin/image/176158355 ), I wondered if it is an omen. Well I am still here, and so is the rabbit.
PS There might be a melanistic gene doing the local rounds because a few days ago I saw another black individual about 400 m away.
