Nandewar Bush-pea

Pultenaea palssoniae, Leguminosae (Fabaceae)
Mount Kaputar, New South Wales

Only formally named in 2024 (the year I took the photo) as a result of previous confusion with another species, the Nandewar Bush-pea is only known from the higher peaks around Mount Kaputar.
It is locally abundant on the upper slopes of Mount Kaputar.

They’re beautiful and look like little orchids growing on an evergreen. Well worth the climb you must have taken to get this lovely photo.
