mistletoe

I'm uncertain which species it is as there are many species in far north Queensland where I took the photo.
It might be the Paperbark Mistletoe (Decaisnina brittenii).
It was growing on a planted Weeping Paperbark (Melaleuca leucadendra).

other sizes: small medium original auto

Like little exotic candles - another of Aussie's extraordinary plants. Looks like something likes munching on the leaves :) Nicely photographed V

Isn't that beautiful, and unlike any kind of mistletoe I've ever seen.
