Third of three photos of this strangest of eucalypts.
It is hard to get a sense of scale here - but see the previous image for the size of the flower buds.
The leaves of this species are few - perhaps only 20 or 30 per plant (plants are no more than large shrubs) - and are about 7 mm thick; apparently a rare example of succulence in a eucalypt.
The smallest branchlets were 10 mm or more thick.
