Black Mountain

To conclude this gallery, another view of the mountain, this one from the base of the rocks.
For scaling, the larger boulders in the foreground are 2 to 4 m across, and that size continues up the slope above with some larger ones as well.
Climbing the mountain is difficult, dangerous and strongly discouraged.
There are deep cavities between the boulders into which one could easily disappear, and given there's about four square kilometres of boulders, one might never be found again. (Rumours abound!)

Spaces between those erratic boulders must make perfect hiding places for ghosts and other strange shy creatures.
