Red-throated Bloodwood

Corymbia rhodops
This species is to be found only on the dry hills to the west of my home town; a rare species listed as Vulnerable to extinction.
It is unusual, perhaps unique in that the inside of the floral cup is red.

other sizes: small medium original auto

Pure white starbursts from the blood-red heart of the flower. Unique and wonderful.
