Blue Argus caterpillar

I planted Creeping Foxglove as a foodplant for five species of butterfly. This is my first sign of success with it.

An especially beautiful caterpillar, and hopefully it survives to metamorphose. It is always gratifying when we plant something to attract a particular species and it works. V

Wonderful detail and nice success! So, if this was taken Feb 14th, it should be about ready to spread its wings? Or perhaps already has?
